Yup, we finally had our church wedding! It’s our second time to say our vows to each other, but still…it felt like it was the first time I said my I Do’s to Kinchan! It was such a beautiful day for us. We both wished it could have lasted several more days. Imagine after one year of planning, the event just flew by…

Personally, I felt it was the most magical event of my life so far. I woke up that day feeling so excited. I can’t even remember what I should do first, good thing Teena (my wedding coordinator) left a schedule for me to follow. I was “uber” excited =)

I got a call from my mom that they will be arriving soon, so I helped my grandma dress up. When Mama and the rest of my family arrived, we had breakfast at the hotel resto. Kinchan’s family was there too and we had heaps of fun enjoying the food. I highly recommend 7 Corners.

Jona then arrived followed by the make-up artist. That was when I realised there was no breakfast prepared for the suppliers, I asked my mom to buy some bread before she arrived in the hotel, but unfortunately she forgot about it. I didn’t want my dream team to faint from starvation so off I went with Jona in search for sustenance. =) On the morning of my wedding, I was walking along EDSA looking for food!

Jona and I had heaps of laugh talking about it. Anyway, good thing Robinson’s supermarket was open that early, we bought breads and pastries from Delifrance.

Make-up of the whole entourage happened in a flash. Next thing I know it was lunch time and we are all asked to dress up.

Nothing can describe how I felt when I put on my wedding gown. I was staring at my dress for so long, most of the shots taken during that moment was me looking down and inspecting the beadwork. I knew it was beautiful but never did I imagine, it was that exquisite… it almost made me cry. I wanted to freeze that moment where I was preparing for another chapter in my life. I took a mental photo of how I felt…and I can only describe it as heavenly.

Walking down the aisle will always be remembered fondly. I think if my memory will be erased and there is just one moment that I can keep in my heart to remember forever, I’ll choose to remember the exact moment I saw my husband when I entered the church. Seeing my husband filled me with so much joy. All the trials and tribulations that challenged our relationship flashed thru my eyes, and yet I knew I was marrying the right guy. Looking at my husband, I was also reminded of the many beautiful memories we have shared for the past 6 years. I can’t believe it has been 6 years since we officially became an “us”.

My favorite part was our grand entrance to the reception area that led to our first dance. When I saw family and friends smiling at our dance…I was in heaven. Kinchan and I had a blast! We enjoyed everything, which was evident in our photos. We were smiling all night long. I almost cried in 2 events, my uncle’s speech about my mom and Jason Magbanua’s onsite video of our wedding.

We went back to the hotel feeling excited and happy. But I was a bit tired and couldn’t keep my eyes open. It was my husband who still had so much energy, he was so talkative I totally forgot I was about to fall asleep. =)

I can’t wait for my husband and I to plan for wedding number 3 =)
