I have been so busy the past couple of month’s, I haven’t done any blogging.

So many things happened, I actually don’t know where to start. =)

May this be a year of heartwarming surprises and bountiful blessings.

We had such a wonderful time with our Engaged Encounter seminar. Being married for 2 years hasn’t stopped us from picking up ways to better our marriage. We met some cool couples and had lots of fun sleeping over at the convent.

This is the tabloid-style post of my ever dearest husband sa tipidPC nitong madaling araw ng Monday. Looking back at this now, it became a comic-relief to our stressful week starter.

At about 11:30PM Sydney time, Sunday evening, I received a call from my mom saying that my grandma was missing. My mom was in tears and I was immediately alarmed. Inay apparently had an argument with my other grandma and decided to tell my mom about it. My mom who was then in PGH had no idea that this was happening for she was looking after my grandfather who was confined there after his bypass surgery.

Inay left the house at about 1:00PM (Manila time) with no money. She was till in her house clothes and only brought her umbrella with her. We were very frantic because it has been 9 hours since she went missing! She was supposed to take her medicine hours ago and have some food because she is diabetic. I was in tears trying to figure out what to do. Good thing my husband has friends who rose to the occasion and offered their help. Martin (hubby’s brod from Tau Alpha) even went to our home to get a picture of Inay and he went Barangay hoping to show her picture around.

At about 1:30AM, Manila time (4:30AM Sydney time) my mom called, they found Inay. Guess how far she walked? She walked from our home in Las Pinas to Pasay City, She even went thru Edsa. Mind you, she’s 80 yrs old! She had bruises on her legs, that gave us an indication she must have fallen sometime during her walk. But she was oblivious to everything, she can’t even remember what happened.

Currently my mom is in the hospital. She was confined for her blood pressure is quite high and she can’t eat. I think she had a stressful 2 weeks! I hope she gets better soon! Times like this, I wish I was home.

My husband and I have been busy preparing for the upcomg Christmas Season. We have bought TONS of chocolates ang other goods to send home. I can’t believe it’s so exciting to prepare a Balikbayan Box. I have been labelling each chocolate and putting Christmas greetings on each one. I even created this list so my mom won’t have a hard time segregating for each relative.

Na-touch naman ako sa sinabi ni Ate Del sa website. =) Thanks Ate Del! Laki na po talaga ni Ching. Binata na =)

The document requirements for the wedding is killing me! I can’t believe I’d be this stressed just because of it. I have been harassing my mom, my auntie, Mt Carmel, the Phil Embassy, even NSO back home! =) Ano ba! Kaya next time, basahin mabuti ang FINE PRINT! Hahahahha.

We bought a new console (Nintendo Wii) and it arrived just this week. My husband and I put this console through our own personal rigorous testing process. And our verdict…Nintendo Wii is the next level in gaming console. Xbox 360 and Play Station 3 are simply upgrades from their initial design and structure that came out years ago.

My husband and I get bored easily, but with the Nintendo Wii, we reckon it would hold our interest for a bit longer than the other consoles.

I played so much today, my arms actually hurt! AND unfortunately, the game-addict monster within me was released again after that starcraft addiction. I was getting too competitive that I was actually disappointed losing against a couple of computer opponents. My husband had to remind me that it was just a game. =)

It’s 12:00AM and I’m still wide-awake. I’m a bit tired from doing some wedding stuff and heaps concerned about the condition of my grandfather. My mom is going to Batangas tom to check up on him and his ailment. My auntie said he doesn’t want an operation but after having chat with my mom, he finally agreed. He’s going under the knife soon…

Gary and Maja spent two days with us as they came to Sydney for a visit. I love going to Cronulla to have lunch or dinner with an ocean view. It never fails to relax me. I hope our friends enjoyed their week out in Sydney! I can’t wait for the next event, so we can go to Cronulla for another scrumptious dinner and dessert.

It’s already Sunday! Good thing I finished my long-overdue email to New Yorker. My schedule for today, to finish that tedious task of guest lists. Hmmmmmm, I better do it now so my husband can fix the table arrangements.

To buy or to make? Our guest book that is…We still can’t decide.

I am so tired this week, I reckon I’m coming down with a flu again. I have to fight this though for I have an upcoming busy week.

I think the stress of the coming wedding and Christmas season is getting to me. I have so many on my plate. Better take things easy.

My boss and colleague invited me to join them for a lunch-getaway today. I really needed a break for I could feel a massive migraine about to take over me. I’m just bone-tired this week. Here is where we went for our 1-hour lunch break =)I feel so blessed to work in a CBD that is near such beauty as this. I can’t believe that this Reserve Site is just 15 minutes from the busy cosmopolitan city where I work. It took my breathe away. For an hour, I just took in the beauty that surrounds me.

Lord,
Thanks for the heart-warming surprises each day! Thanks for the boost of confidence! Thanks for calming my nerves.
Always loving you…your daughter

We went to Cronulla beach last long weekend. It was one of the best weekends I had. First, I get to walk along the shoreline and just enjoy the wonderful sight of endless blue waters. Best part of that whole weekend was I get to swim in the freezing waters. =) No amount of threat of getting pneumonia stopped me from taking a dip.

We had lunch at RSL Cronulla and I reckon, they serve the best steak here in Sydney. I ahd a 400-day aged steak and it was scrumptious! It goes perfect with my husband’s baked fish in rosemary and butter!

I wish there were more weekends like that!

Sometimes I miss being young…

Some people can’t just help themselves. They live in the past and resort to snooping at other people’s lives. Most of us have moved on…how come some are still stuck in the past?
